Devzy v2.15.0 Release Notes
Bitbucket Cloud support, more reliable reviews, clearer scan findings, and easier repository navigation
Devzy now works with Bitbucket Cloud. Connect a workspace to review pull requests, answer in review threads, and run security and compliance scans. This release also improves review accuracy, scan results, and repository navigation.
New Features
Bitbucket Cloud pull request reviews
- Automatic reviews: new pull requests and new pushes are reviewed with inline comments and a summary
- Full repository context: reviews read the whole repository, not only the changed files
- Conversations: reply in a Devzy thread, or mention
@DevzyAiwithhelp,review, ortest - Fix in IDE: findings include links that open Cursor, VS Code, Codex, or Claude Code with a ready fix prompt
- Notifications: Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, and email links point to the Bitbucket pull request
Workspace onboarding
- Sign in with Bitbucket and connect a workspace using a service account API token
- Choose repositories: Devzy adds one webhook per repository and reuses an existing Devzy webhook instead of creating a second one
- Clear token checks: missing token permissions are listed by name when you connect
- Invite teammates: invitations sign people in with the workspace's own provider
Security and compliance scans
Security and compliance scans run on Bitbucket repositories, on demand or on a schedule. Repository settings checks that read Bitbucket's own configuration are shown as not assessed.
Improvements
Reviews check more context
Reviews investigate related repository code and check findings against the change before posting. Reviews also handle long file paths and larger changes more reliably, and clearly indicate when an assessment could not finish.
Summaries stay focused on the change
File summaries and pull request walkthroughs describe what changed without adding unverified bug reports. Generated release notes are instructed to list a bug fix only when the pull request fixes that defect.
More reliable scan results
Updated scan analysis improves how repository context, finding severity, and remediation guidance are interpreted.
Easier navigation and onboarding
- Repository tabs: switch between Preferences and Scan from the repository page.
- First-scan setup: return to the dashboard from framework selection without saving changes or starting a scan.
Bitbucket workspace continuity
- Renamed repositories keep their settings: approval, review settings, channel routes, and schedules follow a repository or workspace rename
- More reliable delivery: Bitbucket retries events that arrive during a brief service interruption, and repeated deliveries are handled once
- Notification status: channels that are not set up are reported as skipped rather than failed
